Summer Read: Raising My Rainbow

Friends' Central School values justice, equity and community, and we are intentional about knowing the whole child. In recent years, we've had a growing understanding of the complexity of gender. In Raising My Rainbow, we hear from the mother of a gender creative child. Reading this book gives us the opportunity to reflect on how we know and welcome the whole child, and on how we make our school a place where every child can be seen and valued for their individual contribution to the community.
